Dortmund refuses to train at Santiago Bernabeu for a strange reason!

Marca reported that Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin refused to have a traditional training session at Santiago Bernabeu before facing Real Madrid.

The German club will be visiting Los Blancos at their historic stadium on Tuesday in the third round of the Champions League next Tuesday.

UEFA grants the visiting team the right to train at least once at the host stadium 24 hours before the match to see the atmosphere and condition of the stadium.

Nuri Sahin refused to take advantage of this and have a final training session at Real’s stronghold for fear of “spies”.

The Turkish coach wants his ideas for the summit against Real to remain unknown to Carlo Ancelotti, and he fears that some individuals will attend the training session and inform the Spanish club of how the “yellow and black” will approach the confrontation.

The strange thing is that in practice Real Madrid does not need to send spies for Dortmund considering that the team has played 10 matches in all competitions this season and Sahin’s ideas seem clear.

It remains to be noted that Dortmund currently leads the Champions League standings with 6 points from two wins in the first two rounds, while Real Madrid won against Stuttgart and lost to Lille and is in 17th place.
