Egypt and Morocco lose two stars in the Olympic semi-finals

Egyptian media reported that Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” will not be able to catch up with the match of the Egyptian Olympic team and France in the semi-finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics due to injury.

The Zamalek star participated in Egypt’s match against Paraguay in the quarter-finals until he left the field in the 110th minute due to his injury.

According to recent reports, Zizo is suffering from a severe hamstring injury, and doctors are working to prepare him for the match against France, but it seems very difficult.

On the other hand, the Moroccan national team is certain to miss its star, Bilal El Khannous, against Spain after receiving his second yellow card in the quarter-final match against America.

In Egypt, Mostafa Saad “Messi” will be the substitute for Zizo, while in Morocco, expectations are that Benjamin Bouchouari will replace El Khannous in the middle of the Atlas Lions midfield.

The matches between Egypt and France, and Morocco and Spain will be held on Monday, August 2nd, and for the first time in history, an Arab team is guaranteed an Olympic medal in a team sport.
