Egypt Scores the Strangest Goal of the Paris 2024 Olympics (Video)

The Egyptian national team opened their scoring account at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a goal that can only be described as bizarre during their match against Uzbekistan.

Egypt had drawn 0-0 in the first round against the Dominican Republic, while Uzbekistan lost 2-1 to Spain.

In the 11th minute, Ahmed Sayed Zizo sped down the right flank and sent a powerful cross to Ahmed Nabil Kouka, who redirected it towards his teammate Osama Faisal.

Faisal calmly shot towards the goal, but unfortunately, it hit the right post and rebounded to an Uzbek defender who tried to clear the danger.

However, the Uzbek defender’s long pass bounced off Ahmed Nabil Kouka in a strange way inside the six-yard box, nestling into the net and giving Rogerio Micale’s team the lead in the most unlikely fashion.

A picture is worth a thousand words…
