June 2024 was full of football fun, starting with the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, then witnessing the start of Euro 2024 and the Copa America.
This was reflected in Fanzword users, as the application, as usual, allows us to evaluate players and goals, predict results, and other things that ultimately lead to winning our various monthly prizes.
The interaction was great, as usual, from the fans in evaluating the players in various matches, and some players imposed themselves as the best this month with their amazing levels.
Below we learn together about the Fanzword fans’ choices for the best player of the month in June 2024, and which goal received the highest rating as the goal of the month.
3. Lamine Yamal – Spain
At just 16 years old, Lamine Yamal participated in Euro 2024 and became the youngest player in history to compete in the competition, and it was never an honorary participation.
The Barcelona star is currently the most important player in the Spanish national team, and nothing is more evident than the fact that he made two goals, and became the youngest person to participate and contribute scoring in the knockout rounds of the Euro.
Yamal received an average rating of 7.9 from Fanzword users in the matches he played during the month of June.
2. Fabian Ruiz – Spain
Ruiz may not be a striker, but his performance for Spain at Euro 2024 has established him as one of the highest rated players by Fanzword users.
The Paris Saint-Germain star is his country’s top scorer in the Euros with two goals despite being a midfielder, and his average rating in his Euro appearances was 8.
1. Jamal Musiala – Germany
Jamal Musiala won the Fanzword Fans’ Player of the Month award, after he received an average rating of 8.5 in the 4 matches he participated in with Germany in the Euro.
Musiala, 21 years old, scored 3 goals with Germany, the last of which was against Denmark. He is the top scorer in Euro 2024 so far, and is considered the most prominent star in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad.
The Bayern Munich star scored a goal in the opening match against Scotland, and another against Hungary, and was an important factor in deciding the Germans’ reach the quarter-finals.
Goal of the month: Jude Bellingham in Slovakia
Although there are many great goals in the Euro, such as Arda Guler’s goal for Turkey in Georgia, and Marcel Sabitzer’s goal for Austria in the Netherlands, no sound is louder than the sound of Jude Bellingham’s goal for England in Slovakia.
The Slovak national team had an unanswered 1-0 lead over England in the round of 16 of Euro 2024, but the Real Madrid star at the last minute, with a double kick, equalized for the English and kept them in the competition.
This was not the 21-year-old’s first goal in the Euro, as he was the one who opened the Three Lions’ goals in the competition with the winning goal against Serbia as well.
England owe a lot to Bellingham, who scored the Fanzword Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month, and the video of the goal below speaks for itself.
