Fiery Arab confrontations in the African Champions League and Confederation Cup groups

The headquarters of the Confederation of African Football in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, hosted the draw ceremony for the group stage of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions.

Al-Ahly is the Champions League title holder, while Zamalek was the last to win the Confederation Cup title, and now the two competitions practically begin with the start of the round of 16 with the participation of the best teams.

The start of the group stage matches was postponed to November due to the African Nations Cup qualifiers for local players, while the round of 16 matches will be played in November, December and January.
