Despite the good performance shown by Barcelona, coach Hansi Flick expressed his dissatisfaction with some of the things his team has presented so far.
Barcelona leads the La Liga standings with 9 points after achieving 3 wins against Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Rayo Vallecano.
Flick spoke at the press conference before the fourth round match against Real Valladolid and said, “We performed well in the first 3 matches and I hope that we will come out victorious in tomorrow’s match at our stadium.”
He also added, “There are many things that we need to improve, such as focusing from the beginning of the match and not waiting 10 minutes to get into the atmosphere of the match.”
He concluded in this regard, “We have to be confident in ourselves from the first minute, this is what I expect from the players.”
When asked about Real Madrid and the successive stumbles of the royal club in La Liga, the German coach simply said, “The season is still long and I don’t care about what happens with the competitors, I only care about Barcelona.”
