Flick gives Barcelona good news ahead of Las Palmas clash

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has announced that the Catalan club’s star player Lamine Yamal has fully recovered from his injury and can play against Las Palmas.

The Spanish international has missed Barcelona’s last three matches due to injury, noting that Barca lost one of them against Real Sociedad and drew another against Celta Vigo, before winning for the first time without Yamal against Brest in the Champions League.

Flick was asked in the press conference on Friday before the match about Yamal’s condition, to which he replied, “Lamine is back, he will play against Las Palmas.”

He also added, “The plan is for him to play, but we haven’t decided yet whether he will play from the start or as a substitute.”

Flick refused to give the media an exact date for Ronald Araujo’s return to participate with Barcelona again, and was content to confirm that he is “very close” to playing matches after an absence of four months.

Barcelona lead the Spanish league by 4 points over Real Madrid, with the Royal Club having one less match to be played in January against Valencia.
