Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed the positions of Raphinha and Pau Cubarsi for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid.
Raphinha missed the recent match against Girona due to muscle discomfort, and the German expressed doubts after the match about his fitness for the match against Rojiblancos at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Cubarsi has been out of action for two weeks due to an injury sustained while playing for the Spanish national team, which caused him to miss the matches against Osasuna and Girona.
In the press conference before the Atletico Madrid match, Flick announced that Raphinha and Cubarsi could participate in the upcoming match against Atletico, and that they have fully recovered from their recent injuries.
Barcelona are now almost fully fit against Atletico Madrid, with only two absentees: Marc Casado and goalkeeper Ter Stegen, who has been out for six months. Andreas Christensen has also returned to training but is not expected to be available for the match.
