For the 30th time in his career, Ramos receives a red card

Sergio Ramos received his first red card with Monterrey, during a match against Pumas in the Mexican league.

Although Monterrey were leading 3-1 and appeared to have won the match, Ramos became enraged at a Pumas player and was sent off.

The Spanish legend attacked a Pumas player off the ball in the 92nd minute for no apparent reason, and was immediately shown a red card.

This is the 30th red card in Ramos’s career, with Sevilla, Real Madrid, the Spanish national team, and, most recently, Monterrey.

It is worth noting that Ramos has made five appearances for Monterrey since his January move, scoring three goals.

With this victory, Monterrey moved to eighth place in the Clausura standings after 12 rounds, while Pumas UNAM remained at 14 points in eleventh place.
