For the first time.. Ancelotti opposes Real Madrid management!

There has been a state of disagreement within Real Madrid in the recent period between management and coach Carlo Ancelotti, and the reason is the future of Ferland Mendy.

The Spanish club places the contract with Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies as its priority this summer, and plans to sell Mendy if the deal succeeds.

Mendy’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2025, and so far the club has not given him a new renewal offer, which means allowing him to leave this summer to make money behind him instead of leaving for free next year.

According to the Relivo network, Ancelotti opposes this proposal, as he is determined that Mendy should continue and is demanding that his contract be renewed.

The Real Madrid management justifies its position on the desire to sell Mendy by saying that his record of injuries is huge and it is difficult to rely on him throughout the season, while the coach believes that the matter can be remedied and does not constitute an obstacle to benefiting from the player.

Until now, the controversy still exists between the two parties, but in light of Ancelotti’s insistence on Mendy, Real Madrid’s management may be forced to listen to him and try to renew his contract.

Perhaps what reinforces the hypothesis that the Frenchman will continue at the Santiago Bernabeu is what was reported by the German media that Bayern Munich decided to keep Davies until the end of his contract, and thus Real Madrid has no alternative but Mendy on the left front.
