For the first time, Huijsen responds to Real Madrid’s interest

Bournemouth and Spain defender Dejan Huijsen has expressed his pride in the reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Real Madrid is looking for a new center-back, and given Huijsen’s impressive performances in the Premier League, coupled with a value not exceeding €50 million, he is emerging as an ideal option for the Los Blancos this summer.

While in Spain, Huijsen’s was asked about Real Madrid’s interest, and he responded, “It’s an honor that a big club like Real Madrid is interested in me.”

Regarding the possibility of a move to the capital club, he replied, “Right now, I’m just thinking about finishing the season well and we’ll see what happens next.”

It’s worth noting that the 19-year-old Huijsen came on as a substitute for Spain in the 2-2 draw with the Netherlands in the first leg of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals last Thursday.
