Kylian Mbappé confirmed that he is in the process of announcing his next destination within the next few days, after Paris Saint-Germain won the French Cup following its victory over Lyon by two goals to one.
Mbappe announced last month that he would leave PSG at the end of his contract at the end of this season, and at the same time he reached an agreement with Real Madrid to join him starting next season.
When Mbappe was asked why he delayed announcing his joining Real Madrid, he replied, “I think that before I did that, I had to finish the season well with Paris Saint-Germain.”
He also added, “No problem. I will announce the new club I will play for within the next few days.”
As for the possibility of an announcement before his participation with France in Euro 2024, he said, “I don’t know yet, there are some details still missing.”
According to the Spanish press, Real Madrid will announce the inclusion of Mbappe after the Champions League final, specifically in the period from June 3 to June 10 of the same month.
Mbappé needs the approval of the Paris administration and the French Football Federation to go to Spain to present him as a player, which does not seem easy to achieve, so what is expected is only that he will announce his joining Real Madrid without presenting him.
As for the submission, it is expected to come at the beginning of August 8, after the end of the 25-year-old’s participation with France in Euro 2024.
