For the first time.. Two new captains for France and England during the October break

France coach Didier Deschamps has chosen a new captain for the Roosters during the current international break in light of the exclusion of Kylian Mbappe and the retirement of Antoine Griezmann from international football.

According to what was announced at a press conference, Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni will wear the captain’s armband for France during the two matches of the European Nations League this October.

Deschamps stressed that his choice is not due to seniority, but rather because of the player’s ability to carry this great burden by leading his country.

In the same context, the England national team is losing the services of its captain Harry Kane due to injury, so interim coach Lee Carsley will choose another player to succeed him to wear the armband.

Kane’s replacement was supposed to be Manchester City star Walker, but Carsley had other ideas.

According to the Daily Mail, John Stones will be the captain of the England national team during the two matches of the European Nations League in October.

This will be the first time Stones has captained the Three Lions since his 81st cap in 2014.
