Augustin Rossi, the former Al-Nasr goalkeeper, called Cristiano Ronaldo an “animal,” but in a positive sense, in reference to his continuous work, tireless toil and diligence.
Rossi shared the locker room with Ronaldo for 6 months, when he was loaned to Al-Nassr from January 2023 until the end of last season.
When the Argentine was asked about the Portuguese star, he replied, “Ronaldo is an animal. He does not like to lose, not only in matches or training, but in life in general.”
He also added, “It is true that I spent a short time with him, but he will remain in my mind forever. It was an incredible thing for me.”
Rossi revealed that Ronaldo is aware of the reality of events in Argentine football thanks to his girlfriend Georgina, and continued, “We also talked about Manchester United, and he knew Argentine football well.”
So far, Ronaldo has only succeeded in achieving one championship for Al-Nassr, which is the Arab Club Championship, and this season he lost the AFC Champions League title, and in practice the Saudi League as well.
However, the 39-year-old remains the top scorer in the Saudi League, and the top scorer for Al-Nasr, with 30 goals in 33 matches in all tournaments.
