Former Manchester United coach takes over Everton

Everton’s management has reached an agreement with one of Manchester United’s former coaches to succeed Sean Dyche in coaching the Toffees with a long-term contract.

The talk here, according to the Times, is about David Moyes, who met with Everton officials in the coming hours and was impressed with the project and accepted their offer to coach the blue team.

Moyes will sign a two-year contract with Everton, so that he will remain coach of the Toffees until the summer of 2027, to begin his third new journey in the Premier League after his long journey that lasted for 5 years with West Ham.

This will be Moyes’ second term with Everton, after the first term that extended from 2002 until his departure in 2013 to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

The Scottish coach’s mission will be difficult with Everton, as he awaits a difficult struggle for relegation during which he needs to revive the team in light of the modest levels this season.

It is noteworthy that Everton has only achieved 3 wins in the Premier League this season, and is ranked 16th with 17 points, one point away from the relegation places.
