Former Real Madrid player and current Como player Nico Paz has expressed his desire to continue with his Italian club next season and not return to the club again.
Real Madrid has the option to buy Paz back for a fee ranging between €9 and €11 million, and Florentino Pérez’s management is said to be seriously considering activating this clause next summer.
Paz was asked about his opinion, and he responded in statements reported by Mundo Deportivo, saying, “I’m happy at Como. I want to continue playing here and adapting, and I’m looking forward to continuing with the team.”
He added, “Leaving Real Madrid was for a change and to have an opportunity. It was very difficult, but it was great.”
Paz surprised everyone with an opinion that contradicted those of Real Madrid and its fans when he said, “I was lucky to play with players like Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, but if I had to choose between two other players now, I would choose Lamine Yamal.”
“The best moment of my life was when I played with Messi (for the Argentine national team). I am very happy. It was a dream come true and I am grateful to have experienced such a moment,” he concluded.
