Former Real Madrid star Joselu expressed his deep sadness over the injury suffered by Dani Carvajal in a tearful letter he wrote.
Carvajal suffered a cruciate ligament tear during Real’s 2-0 win over Villarreal on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Joselu wrote, expressing his sadness over Carvajal’s injury, “I am writing this letter crying.”
He added, “I wish that injury had happened to me and not him, but now we have a path and you must walk it.”
He concluded, “I trust that you will walk this path well as you do everything, I love you brother and I will always be with you.”
It is worth noting that Joselu played for Real Madrid last season and was close to Carvajal before joining Al-Gharafa in Qatar last summer.
