Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, said that his retirement from football is closer than ever.
The Spanish woman was asked during her attendance at Fashion Week about the date of Ronaldo’s retirement, and she replied that it was a matter of one or two years maximum, and the “Don’s” career would end.
Georgina said in a clip that was widely circulated on Instagram, “Cristiano has another year and then it will be over, and maybe only two years.”
This means that the 39-year-old will complete his contract with Al-Nasr until the summer of 2025, after which he will announce his retirement from football.
Ronaldo had refused to set a time frame for when he would retire, and previously indicated that he dreams of continuing until the time when he plays with his son Junior at the same time.
It is noteworthy that Portugal coach Roberto Martinez said that Ronaldo aspires to participate in the 2026 World Cup, which puts real doubts about the date set by Georgina.
