Gomez thanks Bilal for mocking Zamalek.. and Shikabala attacks him!

Zamalek coach, Jose Gomez, considered that Ahmed Bilal’s mocking statements about his team before the African Super Cup were very useful for the White Knight in the match against Al-Ahly.

Ahmed Bilal, who previously played for years in Al-Ahly, had said that Zamalek should not travel to Saudi Arabia because they will inevitably lose to Al-Ahly, and that the White Knights players do not have enough quality to compete with the Red Club.

Gomez said after defeating Al-Ahly on penalties and winning the Super Cup, “There are those who said that it is better not to play this match because we will lose it, this did not happen, but I thank those who said that, as these words gave us motivation and strength.”

He also added, “I thank the fans for their support, and we prepared well for this challenge.”

Shikabala attacked Ahmed Bilal after the match, and demanded that the Egyptian media not allow anyone like him to appear on screens and talk about football.

The White Knight captain continued, “Everyone who said that we should not travel because we will lose gave us a great motivation to win.”

He added, “Today we respond to all of these people. One of us is worth twenty, because Zamalek is a very big club.” Shikabala revealed that he put Ahmed Bilal’s words in a video that he showed to the players before the match to increase their motivation, and it seems that the matter had a very positive effect on them.
