Good News for Zizo Ahead of Egypt’s Olympic Semi-Final Against France

Egypt’s Olympic team medical staff have confirmed that Ahmed Sayed Zizo is fit to play in the semi-final match against France at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Zamalek star was injured during extra time in the quarter-final match against Paraguay, leaving the field in visible pain.

Zizo was diagnosed with a hamstring strain, and it was expected that he would miss at least the match against France, but would be available for the final or the third-place playoff.

However, the Pharaohs’ medical staff confirmed in media statements that Zizo is now fully fit to play against France.

Thus, coach Rogerio Micale will only be missing one player, Ahmed Eid, whose participation in the Olympics has ended due to a hamstring tear.

It is worth noting that Zizo assisted Ibrahim Adel on two goals in the Olympics and is considered one of the team’s most important players despite some initial criticism.
