Barcelona’s squad for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund brought good news for the Catalan club’s fans.
Dani Olmo made his return to Hansi Flick’s squad after nearly three weeks out due to injury.
Barcelona had previously announced that Olmo had successfully undergone a medical and returned to training last Sunday.
Alejandro Balde was absent from the squad, and he is expected to be out for the next three weeks. Gerard Martin will therefore be the only available option at left-back.
Barcelona’s squad for the Dortmund match is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Iñaki Peña, Wojciech Szczesny, Diego Kocchin.
Defenders: Pau Coparsi, Ronald Araujo, Iñigo Martínez, Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, Eric García, Héctor Fort, Gerard Martin.
Midfield: Pablo Gavi, Pedri, Pablo Torre, Fermin López, Frenkie de Jong, Pau Victor.
Attack: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Rafinha, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo.
It should be noted that the first leg at the Estádio Olímpico Luis Companys ended in a resounding 4-0 victory for Barça, putting the Catalans on the brink of the semi-finals, where they will face the winner of Inter Milan or Bayern Munich.
