After a long wait, Erling Haaland finally stepped down from the top scorer in the English Premier League as we reached the fourteenth round.
The credit for this goes to Mohamed Salah, who shone and scored two goals in Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Newcastle on Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, Haaland was a regular for Manchester City against Nottingham Forest, as Pep Guardiola’s team managed to achieve its first victory in seven matches.
Despite the three-goal victory, Haaland was unable to score, so Salah took advantage of that with his brace and finally jumped to first place.
Meanwhile, Cole Palmer came close to the duo after scoring a goal in Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Southampton.
