Guardiola: I’m a bad coach, that’s the reality!

Pep Guardiola’s words were filled with disappointment after Manchester City suffered a bitter defeat to Manchester United in the derby 2-1 in the Premier League.

This defeat is the eighth in the last 11 matches in all competitions for Guardiola, who did not hide his surprise at receiving this number of defeats in one season and for the first time in his career.

The philosopher told the media after the derby, “There is not much to say, we have never lost eight matches before, we cannot defend that with any excuse.”

He added, “It is not about this player or that, the team as a whole has conceded a lot of goals, this is our fault, we do not play calmly and the results are bad and this match was not an exception to the rule, this is the reality.”

He continued, “I am not a good enough coach, I am responsible here, I must find solutions and so far I have not done so, this is the reality.”

“What can I say? We can’t blame this player or that player, it’s not like that. It’s the season, a difficult season,” he concluded.
