Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has split from his wife Cristina Serra after more than 30 years of relationship
Guardiola and Serra’s relationship dates back to 1994, when he was still 23 years old, and they have lived together since then, and married in 2014 and have three children: Maria (24 years old), Marius (22 years old), and Valentina (17 years old).
According to Spanish media, the couple informed their close friends and family of the separation, although they still maintain a friendly relationship and spent Christmas together with their children.
In 2019, it was rumored that Serra left Manchester with one of her sons to Barcelona to oversee her fashion business. Since then, she has been dividing her time between Barcelona and London, while Guardiola has remained in Manchester.
It is said that the differences between the couple continued since then until their relationship officially ended and they divorced in December 2024.
Guardiola’s exaggerated bad mood in recent months can be understood, and that it was not only due to the decline in Manchester City’s performance and results, but also for personal reasons.
