Real Madrid star Arda Guler has denied recent rumors about strained relationship with coach Carlo Ancelotti due to his lack of playing time this season.
Guler was expected to participate more in Real Madrid’s matches this season, but once again Ancelotti preferred to rely on the player as a substitute most of the time and for a few minutes.
It was said that Fenerbahce will try to borrow Guler in January, and that Real Madrid’s management welcomes the idea for the Turkish player to play more instead of sitting on the bench.
The 19-year-old responded to these reports by saying, “There are no problems at all between me and Ancelotti.”
He also added, “For me, I am getting more minutes to participate this season, which is good.”
He concluded, “Of course I want to play every match, but the current situation is normal, everything is fine and there are no problems.”
Marca newspaper indicated that despite Fenerbahce’s offer and the interest of other clubs, Guler does not want to leave Real Madrid no matter the cost.
