Erling Haaland continues to regain his usual level, this time after contributing to Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over West Ham in the 20th round of the Premier League.
The Norwegian international scored two goals against West Ham, and with them ignited the battle for the Premier League top scorer title, which he has monopolized in the last two seasons without any competition.
Haaland scored City’s second goal in the 42nd minute, before adding his team’s third goal and his second with a wonderful header in the 55th minute.

With his double, Haaland reached his 16th goal this season in the Premier League, becoming one goal away from the current leader Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian star will play a fiery match with Liverpool against Manchester United, knowing that the Red Devils are the opponent against whom Salah has scored the most goals in the Premier League.
Overall, the battle is heating up and there is a close tie between the Premier League’s top scorers this round, with Cole Palmer and Alexander Isak scoring, as well as Bryan Mbeumo’s brace against Southampton.
It is worth noting that this is the second consecutive match in which Haaland has scored after scoring in City’s 2-0 win over Leicester City last week.
