Haaland returns and scores a historic goal against Tottenham (Video)

Erling Haaland returned to participate again with Manchester City, where he participated in the Tottenham match in the 27th round of the English Premier League.

Haaland missed the last two matches against Real Madrid and Liverpool due to a knee injury, before he completed his recovery and Pep Guardiola immediately pushed him in the Tottenham match.

The Norwegian international needed 12 minutes to return to shaking the net, as he took advantage of Tottenham players’ positioning errors and penetrated the penalty area and scored the goal that secured the three points for City.

With this goal, Haaland reached the 20th goal in the Premier League this season, to take second place among the competition’s top scorers, 5 goals behind the current leader Mohamed Salah.

This goal has a special historical value for Haaland, as it made him the second player in the history of the Premier League to score more than 20 goals in his first three consecutive seasons, after Manchester United legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old has scored seven goals in six appearances for City in London this season, with only Tony Yeboah having done more than him, netting eight times in the 1995-96 campaign.
