Chelsea bared its teeth and crushed its host Wolverhampton 6-2 in the second round of the English Premier League at Molineux Stadium.
The match witnessed a number of major events, topped by a hat-trick scored by Noni Madueke, the protagonist of a previous famous story with Wolverhampton.
The English striker had posted a message on his Instagram account hours earlier, writing “Anything related to this city is disgusting.”
At the same time, Madueke’s hat-trick came with assists from Cole Palmer for all three goals, making him the fifth player in Premier League history to create a hat-trick for a single player in a match.
The English international also scored a truly world-class goal as part of the Blues’ six-goal haul, which was opened by the controversial striker Nicolas Jackson.
In the same context, the latest arrival at Chelsea, Joao Felix, managed to score his first goal for the Blues in his second spell at Stamford Bridge after his move from Atletico Madrid.
