“He is back.” Messi is ready to take revenge on the Monterrey coach!

Inter Miami announced that Lionel Messi is ready to participate in the American team’s match against Monterrey, Mexico, in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals.

The first leg, which was held at Chase Stadium, ended with a 2-1 victory for Monterrey, and Messi did not participate and was limited to being in the stands due to injury.

After nearly a month of absence from the field due to injury, Messi returned again to Inter Miami’s training fully, and was ready to participate in the matches.

The Argentine star was at the top of coach Tata Martino’s squad heading to Mexico, and Inter Miami wrote on it the phrase “He is back.”

Although the 39-year-old previously announced that he has achieved everything in football and does not aspire to anything else, the Monterrey match has become of special importance to him recently.

Messi violently quarreled with the Monterrey coach in the first leg, following his provocative statements that the arbitration was in the interest of Inter Miami due to the Argentine’s presence there.

The former Barcelona star will hope to lead his team to victory and advance to the semi-finals, despite the difficulty of the task, in response to the provocative statements and in continuation of the quarrel with the Mexican coach.

It is noteworthy that Messi played 5 matches with Inter Miami this season in all tournaments, and succeeded in scoring 5 goals and assisting two goals.
