International media outlets have unanimously agreed that Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Vinicius Junior to renew his contract for a long time at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Brazilian international’s current contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027, but in light of his brilliance, rumors of Saudi interest, and the incredible offers he received from there, Real Madrid’s management moved to secure his stay.
Vini will extend his contract with the Royal Club until 2029 or 2030, and there are a few minor details that remain to be agreed upon before the official announcement of this move.
At the same time, Vinicius secured a massive salary increase that will make him one of the highest-paid players at Real Madrid. His new salary is said to be €20 million per year.
Florentino Pérez’s administration sought to emphasize the concept of stability through Vinicius’s renewal, as they still consider him one of the most important first-team stars, and his loss cannot be compensated for by any amount of money.
The No. 7 enjoys a strong relationship with his teammates at Valdebebas, which also encouraged Real Madrid’s management to renew his contract, given his consistent positive impact on the team.
Vinicius joined Real Madrid in 2018 from Flamengo for €45 million. Since then, he has made 311 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring 105 goals and providing 79 assists. He has won numerous titles, most notably two Champions League titles and three La Liga titles.
