Al-Nassr has delivered great news to its fans by announcing the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Luis Castro’s squad and his integration into the pre-season preparations.
The “Don” took a long vacation after participating with Portugal in Euro 2024, which lasted until the second week of July after his country reached the quarter-finals.
Al-Nassr’s pre-season preparations began about two weeks ago, and Castro’s squad played 4 friendly matches in the absence of the 39-year-old.
Now, Ronaldo will finally join the Al-Nassr camp, but he will not participate in the friendly match against Granada scheduled for Sunday due to lack of fitness.
Al-Nassr posted a video of Ronaldo joining the camp in the Spanish city of Marbella, and the happiness of all the players at the Portuguese player’s integration into the camp was evident.
According to the schedule currently announced by Al-Nassr, Ronaldo will not play any friendlies before the start of the new season on August 14 in the Super Cup semi-final against Al-Taawoun.
