It seems that the dispute that occurred between Mohamed Salah and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has become a thing of the past, as the player emphasized the depth of the relationship between them during his farewell to the German in a documentary.
Salah and Klopp quarreled before the Egyptian star came on for the West Ham match, and the reason for that was the coach’s decisions to keep the player on the bench in the last two matches before that.
The crisis ended, according to what Klopp later confirmed, which is clearly evident in the statements Salah made about the German in a documentary, excerpts of which were published.
Salah said about Klopp: “Klopp and I have been together every year for 7 or 8 years and we have many memories, but winning the English Premier League and the European Champions League are emotional memories that will remain in my memory forever.”
He also added, “I developed a lot as a player under Klopp’s leadership, and I can say that I also helped him a lot. We helped each other in a very big way.”
He concluded, “On a personal level, if I have a problem, I can turn to him and ask for his advice. Communication between us will remain forever. This is not just a business relationship.”
Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 at the request of Klopp, and since then he has become one of the Reds legends, and his statements about Klopp were always positive until the West Ham incident happened.
