The Spanish Football Federation announced the prize money for the 2025 Spanish Super Cup.
The competition will be held for the fifth time in Saudi Arabia, specifically in the city of Jeddah, with the participation of La Liga champion Real Madrid and the Cup champion Athletic Bilbao, in addition to the league runner-up, Barcelona, and the Cup runner-up, Mallorca.
As usual, the largest profits from this competition will go to the two giants Real Madrid and Barcelona due to the high fan base compared to the other two clubs.
According to the announcement, Real Madrid and Barcelona have secured 6 million euros just by being in Saudi Arabia.
Athletic Bilbao will earn 3 million euros, with 2 million euros for Mallorca, while the Spanish Federation will win 20 million euros.
The participating clubs will have the opportunity to increase their profits depending on their success in the competition.
Winning the semi-final match will give the winning team one million euros, while achieving the title will guarantee the champion an additional two million euros.
Thus, the total prize money offered in the 2025 Spanish Super Cup will be 40 million euros, slightly more than last year’s edition.
