Ibrahim Adel scored a goal that can only be described as fantastic during his participation in the Egypt-Mauritania match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Pyramids star replaced Osama Faisal in the 84th minute, and only needed 60 seconds to put the ball in the home team’s net.
With a keen eye, Ibrahim Adel spotted the advance of Mauritanian goalkeeper Mamadou Diop, and shot the ball from the midfield line, but the goalkeeper failed to stop it.
This is the farthest goal scored by the Egyptian national team in its history!
Thanks to Ibrahim Adel’s goal, Egypt achieved a 1-0 victory over Mauritania, thus officially securing qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Morocco.
