Paris Saint-Germain legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has denounced Cristiano Ronaldo’s statements that the Saudi League is stronger than the French League.
Ibrahimovic was asked in a media interview about his comment on what Ronaldo said, and he replied by saying, “There is nothing I can answer here.”
He also added, “I played for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the greatest clubs in Europe, and in a very good league. You cannot discuss it from one side without evidence.”
He continued, “Perhaps the Premier League and La Liga are in a different position than the rest of the leagues, but I will not waste my time responding to Ronaldo’s statements that the Saudi League is better than the French.”
PSG has dominated the French League in the last 15 years to a large extent, losing the title only to Monaco and Lille, and there is rarely competition between it and others to win the shield.
The main reason for the dominance of the capital club is due to the enormous financial capabilities it has, compared to its peers who always suffer from difficult economic crises.
