Due to the lack of countries in the region, the CONCACAF Federation usually attracts teams from abroad. Brazil has previously participated 3 times, South Korea twice, and South Africa once.
The Saudi national team will be the second Arab team to participate in the Gold Cup, after the Qatari national team participated in the last two versions and succeeded in 2021 in reaching the semi-finals.
It remains to be noted that the Saudi national team will go to the Gold Cup from the countries of Al-Hilal players due to the conflict between the competition time and the 2025 Club World Cup.
