After a long wait, Arda Guler scored his first goal with Real Madrid this season, in the match against Girona in the Spanish League.
The Turkish international had the opportunity to participate in the starting lineup in the match that was played at Montilivi Stadium after the sudden injury that afflicted Rodrigo on Saturday morning.
Guler took advantage of a magical pass from Jude Bellingham, to be alone in front of the goal while being harassed by the Girona defender, then he shot it very powerfully with his left foot and gave Real Madrid the second goal.
This is the second goal contribution for the Turkish player with the royal club this season in 17 matches in all competitions after an assist he made against Leganes two weeks ago.
In general, this is the seventh goal in Guler’s career with Real Madrid during the two seasons he spent inside the Santiago Bernabéu.
