Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Ittihad administration reached an agreement with Roma regarding the inclusion of Houssem Aouar during the current summer Mercato.
Aouar’s inclusion comes at the suggestion of Karim Benzema, who is working with the Ittihad’s management to strengthen the team with options he agrees with in order to prevent a recurrence of last season’s crisis.
According to the latest report, Al-Ittihad will pay 12 million euros to sign the Algerian international, and the deal will not be on loan, as was previously reported.
Ittihad completed an agreement with Aouar on all the personal details, so that it would be a matter of a few hours and the transfer of the former Lyon player to the general would be announced.
It is noteworthy that Aouar joined on a free transfer to Roma last summer, but he did not succeed in providing the hoped-for addition after he scored 4 goals in 25 matches he played in all tournaments.
It is noteworthy that Ittihad will also announce in the next few days the appointment of Laurent Blanc as coach of the team, who also came on the nomination of Karim Benzema after they worked together in the French national team for two years.
