In just 42 seconds.. Tony scores a historic goal for Al-Ahli against Al-Shabab (Video)

Al-Ahli quickly surprised its guest Al-Shabab, and scored a goal after only 42 seconds of the start of the match that brought them together at Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.

The English striker Ivan Tony was the one who shook the net of Al-Shabab, taking advantage of a cross and a wrong exit from goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf, to direct the ball into the net with his head.

Toney’s goal is the second fastest goal in Al-Ahli’s history, after Omar Al-Somah’s goal against Al-Raed, which he scored after only 31 seconds.

With this goal, the former Brentford striker ranked 11th in the list of the fastest goals in the history of the Saudi Professional League.

Topping the list is Hamad Al-Hamdan’s historic goal against Hajr in 2011, which he scored after only 6 seconds.

It is worth noting that Ivan Tony’s goal raised his tally of goals in the Saudi League this season to 4 goals in 11 matches he has played so far.
