The Saudi national team achieved an important victory over its host, the Chinese national team, with two goals to one, in the second round match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
China took the lead in the 14th minute after Ali Lajmi put the ball into his own net by mistake.
The “Green” team played the match with 10 players since the 19th minute after Mohammed Kano was sent off following a violent tackle on one of the Chinese players by a decision of the video technology.
However, Hassan Kadesh appeared in two shots through which he brought the three precious points to the battalion of coach Roberto Mancini.
The beginning was in the 39th minute when he equalized for Saudi Arabia, then in the 90th minute with a header very similar to Sergio Ramos’ famous header against Atletico Madrid in the 2014 Champions League final.
