In response to the Bencharki deal.. Zamalek is close to signing the former Al-Ahly star

Egyptian press reports indicated that Zamalek is in advanced negotiations to sign a former Al-Ahly star.

The Red Devils had recently signed former Zamalek star Ashraf Bencharki, and it seems that the White Castle officials wanted to return this slap.

According to reports, the Zamalek administration has made a huge offer to the former Al-Ahly striker and current Al-Khaleej Saudi, Mohamed Sherif.

Sherif’s contract with Al-Khaleej ends at the end of the current season, and therefore he is legally entitled to negotiate and sign with any club to move to its ranks starting next season.

Zamalek offered the 30-year-old to receive 60 million pounds, 40 million pounds as a salary, and another 20 million as a contract bonus, which is an amount close to what he currently receives in Saudi Arabia.

The negotiations between the two parties are in very advanced stages but have not been finalized yet, but in principle, Sherif has expressed his approval to move to the White Knight, but this approval remains incomplete at the moment.

Mohamed Sherif does not play much with Al-Khaleej, which may hasten his transfer to Zamalek this winter instead of waiting until next summer, but then the Egyptian club will have to negotiate with its Saudi counterpart.

Zamalek is currently working on concluding two other deals, and we are talking here about a foreign central defender, as well as a left winger, after some financial liquidity became available recently.
