In the second half, youngster Jayden Dance scored the third goal in the 76th minute, before Federico Chiesa completed the quartet with a goal in the 90th minute.

With this victory, the Reds join a large number of Premier League clubs that have succeeded in passing the third round, the last of which was Wolverhampton, in addition to Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa.
