Liverpool did not find it difficult to pass the third round of the FA Cup, after beating Accrington Stanley 4-0 at Anfield.

Due to the differences in level, coach Arne Slot preferred to rest a number of senior players, led by Mohamed Salah, and gave the opportunity to more substitute and young players.

Perhaps the first star of this match was Trent Alexander-Arnold, as he scored a goal and was the reason for another goal, and received a great salute from the Anfield fans who sat singing his name.

Diogo Jota took the lead in the 29th minute, then Arnold scored the second goal with a wonderful shot at the end of the first half.

In the second half, youngster Jayden Dance scored the third goal in the 76th minute, before Federico Chiesa completed the quartet with a goal in the 90th minute.

With this victory, the Reds join a large number of Premier League clubs that have succeeded in passing the third round, the last of which was Wolverhampton, in addition to Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa.

Liverpool are preparing for an anticipated Premier League summit next Tuesday against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, knowing that Nuno Santo’s squad is the only one to defeat the Reds this season in the Premier League.
