International media outlets have reported that Inter Miami will attempt to bring together Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on one team, and that Ronaldo will support the Flea in the American club’s journey to the 2025 Club World Cup.
Reports claimed that the Portuguese star will leave Al-Nassr for free when his contract expires next May, then move to Inter Miami on a short-term contract to join Messi and participate in the Club World Cup to be held in the United States.
Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano denied these reports, stressing that they are baseless and that Ronaldo has never been a topic of discussion for David Beckham’s management.
In the same context, Ronaldo’s future remains unclear. He has not yet signed a contract renewal with Al-Nassr, while it is rumored that the 40-year-old wants to participate in the Club World Cup, which increases the possibility of his departure from the Knights of Najd.
Press reports indicated that Al-Nassr has a chance to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup after Mexico’s Club Leon was excluded. However, FIFA has yet to decide which club will invite them to the competition, which kicks off on June 14.
It’s worth noting that one of the ideas recently floated is for Ronaldo to move to Al-Hilal on loan during the World Cup and then return to Al-Nassr, especially given the reported desire to remain in the Saudi League until the 2026 World Cup.
