James Rodriguez is on the verge of returning to La Liga, having entered into advanced negotiations with Rayo Vallecano.
The Colombian international is free to move wherever he wants after terminating his contract with Brazilian club Sao Paulo last month, and it is said that Rodriguez’s goal now is to return to Europe.
Rodriguez has received several offers from Europe in recent days from clubs such as Real Betis, Porto, and Villarreal, following his excellent performance in the recent Copa America where he reached the final with his country.
However, the real move towards him came from Rayo Vallecano, which, according to the “Cadena Cope” network, made him travel to Spain a few days ago, and negotiations are ongoing between him and the Madrid club officials to finalize the deal in the coming hours.
This will be Rodriguez’s second experience in Spain, after playing for Real Madrid in an experience that was not the most successful in his career.
The 2014 World Cup top scorer has played for many clubs, such as Bayern Munich, Everton, Porto, Olympiacos, Al-Rayyan, and most recently Sao Paulo.
