Juventus star confirmed to have torn cruciate ligament

A new star has been confirmed to have suffered the most common injury these days, a torn cruciate ligament, and is the second victim of the pressure of matches in Juventus.

We are talking here about left-back Juan Cabal, who returned to Turin hours after suffering a knee injury during Colombia’s training.

According to Italian media, Cabal suffered a severe knee injury in his first training session with his country, and underwent accurate tests that confirmed damage to his cruciate ligament.

The player moved to Turin in the last hours to undergo more tests, but it has become certain that his season has ended and that he is suffering from a torn cruciate ligament.

In this case, the Colombian Football Federation and FIFA will have to compensate Juventus for the injury as it occurred in the national team camp, while also bearing part of his salary until he returns to the pitch.

It should be noted that this is the second time that a Juventus player has suffered the same type of injury after central defender Gelson Bremer.

This injury will leave Juventus with just five defenders, and Thiago Motta and his club will have to engage in the transfer market to replace Bremer and Cabal as much as possible.

Cabal joined Juventus last summer from Verona for 13 million euros, and this is the third time he has been called up to represent Colombia after being called up for the first time in September and then October.
