Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba will leave Al-Ahly in the upcoming winter transfer period on loan after completing his agreement with a new club.
Kahraba has suffered from severe criticism over the past 5 months after his level declined, and the attacks on him increased after his poor level against Batushka in the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Cup.
According to Egyptian media, Kahraba received two loan offers, the first from Al-Zawraa of Iraq and the other from Al-Ittihad of Libya.
In the end, Kahraba preferred to move to Al-Ittihad of Libya, which agreed with Al-Ahly to sign the 31-year-old on loan for $125,000.
The agreement between Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad includes a purchase right clause for the Libyan club next summer for Kahraba that can be activated automatically.
Kahraba was completely out of coach Marcel Koller’s plans, even though the main striker Wissam Abu Ali was injured, and the player felt that the time had come to leave to reduce the attacks against him and live in a period of calm.
With this, the curtain almost falls on Kahraba’s career at Al-Ahly, which began controversially in 2019 and witnessed many achievements for the player with the Red Club.
