Keylor Navas moves to Messi’s favourite club!

Real Madrid legend Keylor Navas has completed a deal with a new club that may come as a surprise to him this season.

Since Navas left Nottingham Forest at the end of last season and has not signed a new club, he has been linked with several clubs, the latest of which was Moroccan club Wydad.

According to press reports, Navas will join Newell’s Old Boys in Argentina, and has already signed a one-year contract there.

Newell’s Old Boys is Messi’s favourite club, as he grew up there, and he has expressed his desire to return to it more than once, although that seems impossible now.

Navas was close to moving to Chilean side Colo Colo before, and it was also said that he had offers from Mexico, but in the end he decided to embark on an exciting adventure in Argentina.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper is a Real Madrid legend, having been one of the main reasons behind the club’s three consecutive Champions League titles and many other titles, before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain in 2020.
