Kroos: This is why Ronaldo moved to the Saudi League

Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos believes that Cristiano Ronaldo’s “addiction” to scoring goals is the reason for his move to the Saudi club Al-Nassr.

Kroos has a close relationship with Ronaldo and described him as the best of his teammates, and the respect is shared between them, which prompted the German to speak, unlike his usual diplomacy, about “Don”.

In media statements, Kroos spoke about individual achievements and their value, “Individual awards are not important to me, without the individual team it would be nothing”.

Regarding Ronaldo, he said, “Cristiano was the first player to arrive at training and the last to leave”.

He continued, “We all want to win titles and score goals, but for him, scoring goals was a positive addiction”.

He concluded in this regard by saying, “I dare say that this is what he also wants in the Saudi League (scoring goals frequently).”

It is worth noting that Ronaldo has played 72 matches in all tournaments since joining Al-Nassr, during which he scored 65 goals and made 17 others, but he has so far failed to achieve any official championship with the Saudi club.
