Kroos worries Real Madrid with a vague answer about his future

Toni Kroos, the Real Madrid player, stressed that he has not yet made his decision about renewing his contract with the Royal Club or retiring from football at the end of the current season.

Kroos’s contract expires at the end of the current season, and Real Madrid’s management offered him a renewal for another year, while the player was initially inclined towards retirement at the top of his level, as he had always dreamed of.

In the past months, the Spanish and German media agreed that Kroos has changed his mind and would like to continue for another year, especially after his decision to abandon international retirement and participate with his country in Euro 2024.

Kroos was asked again, after the match against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, about his plans for the future, and he answered ambiguously by saying, “Until now I have not decided what I will do in my future.”

He also added, “All I’m focusing on now is to win as many championships as possible this season. I’m not thinking about the future at all.”

Real Madrid practically won the Spanish League title, and before that it won the Super Cup, and now it aspires to reach the Champions League final after a 2-2 draw with Bayern in the semi-finals in Germany.
