Kylian Mbappe revived the La Liga top scorers’ competition after his hat-trick in the Real Madrid and Valladolid match on Tuesday.
The advantage throughout the season was in favor of Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, but the duo has declined in terms of scoring, as has been the case for Barça since last December.
In contrast, Mbappe scored a brace against Las Palmas, then a hat-trick against Valladolid, which made him go far in the La Liga top scorers’ ranking.
Mbappe raised his total goals with Real Madrid to 21 goals, 15 of which came in the Spanish League, which the royal club leads by 10 points temporarily over Barcelona.
